Negative humor is forgotten immediately. It's the stuff that makes us feel better about our lives that lives long. Much more satisfying. Enter children's books.

But it also became the experience or was the experience of the writers who were attracted to this kind of humor. They're all men or women who come from the same kind of experience in their own lives.

The rejection that we all take and the sadness and the aggravation and the loss of jobs and all of the things that we live through in our lives without a sense of humor I don't know how people make it.

It's your outlook on life that counts. If you take yourself lightly and don't take yourself too seriously pretty soon you can find the humor in our everyday lives. And sometimes it can be a lifesaver.

Our subconscious minds have no sense of humor play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives.

As the war on terror continues Americans must honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for the protection of this nation and the hope of peace.

The poor prey on one another because their lives offer no hope and communicate the tragic message to these human beings that they have no possibility to attain a decent standard of living.

Do you force your kids to pay attention to what's going on or do you let them live their lives outside of it? My hope is that my child is a strong activist. That would make me most proud.

Religion kept some of my relatives alive because it was all they had. If they hadn't had some hope of heaven some companionship in Jesus they probably would have committed suicide their lives were so hellish.

I do believe that most men live lives of quiet desperation. For despair optimism is the only practical solution. Hope is practical. Because eliminate that and it's pretty scary. Hope at least gives you the option of living.
