I feel like the people from Iceland have a different relationship with their country than other places. Most Icelandic people are really proud to be from there and we don't have embarrassments like World War II where we were cruel to other people.
I am sure that no man can derive more pleasure from money or power than I do from seeing a pair of basketball goals in some out of the way place.
The world is not going into concentric blocs of power. It is actually going into a diffusion of power with more centres of decision-making than ever in human civilisation. That requires you to place yourself in far more hubs of power than ever before.
I'm appalled the word feminism has been denigrated to a place of almost ridicule and I very passionately believe the word needs to be revalued and reintroduced with power and understanding that this is a global picture.
When you give everyone a voice and give people power the system usually ends up in a really good place. So what we view our role as is giving people that power.

The places I visit in any given week are my home so when I'm somewhere that feels good to me it's a real game changer. If a place causes me to have a strong reaction be it positive or negative it'll often find its way into my music.
I appreciate the 'Surreal Life.' I had a really positive experience on that show and with those people. I found some love in my heart for religion again and had the support of a new family of friends. I wouldn't have had the pleasure of meeting those people if we were not all placed in that fishbowl.
To me the blues is an infection. I don't think it's necessarily a melancholy thing the blues can be really positive and I think I think anyone and everyone can have a place for the blues. It need not always a woeful sorrowful thing. It's more reflective it reminds you to feel.
