What are people going to do? Fire me? I've been fired before. Not book me? I've been out of work before. I don't care.

Before you start some work always ask yourself three questions - Why am I doing it What the results might be and Will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions go ahead.

All things are difficult before they are easy.

Books give not wisdom where none was before. But where some is there reading makes it more.

However I must not indulge in homespun wisdom here before so distinguished an assembly especially as I am to be followed by a representative of science.
