I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.

I feel fortunate that I'm not a beauty. I'm not a classic beauty. I feel it is harder for girls who are like that. There are fewer parts.

A supermodel needed to be able to be on 'Sports Illustrated ' to be able to walk runways to be able to do beauty ads to be on covers. And the girls now can no longer be on covers and be in the ads because your actresses have taken over all the jobs. I don't know what happened but we want our jobs back.

I have girls who are concerned about how they look compared to models or what have you. It's my responsibility to teach them that beauty is more than superficial.

I thought to be feminine was to give in to straight culture or the beauty standard but in my heart I had a flair for fashion and style. They were passions I kept secret because I didn't understand I could love clothes and hair and makeup and still like girls.

Ads featuring real women and real beauty are such a necessary component to offset the potentially dangerous programming out there for little girls.

So much has been said and sung of beautiful young girls why doesn't somebody wake up to the beauty of old women.

It's sad when girls think they don't have anything going on except being pretty.

My dad had this philosophy that if you tell children they're beautiful and wonderful then they believe it and they will be. So I never thought I was unattractive. But I was never one of the girls at school who had lots of boyfriends.
