I'm not comfortable being preachy but more people need to start spending as much time in the library as they do on the basketball court.

Be of service. Whether you make yourself available to a friend or co-worker or you make time every month to do volunteer work there is nothing that harvests more of a feeling of empowerment than being of service to someone in need.

I try to keep it real. I don't have time to worry about what I'm projecting to the world. I'm just busy being myself.

If you kiss on the first date and it's not right then there will be no second date. Sometimes it's better to hold out and not kiss for a long time. I am a strong believer in kissing being very intimate and the minute you kiss the floodgates open for everything else.

I just got tired of being sick and tired and feeling down. Unfortunately you don't realize this until you're getting sober but the reason why you're depressed all the time is it's the drugs that are depressing you.

People spend too much time finding other people to blame too much energy finding excuses for not being what they are capable of being and not enough energy putting themselves on the line growing out of the past and getting on with their lives.
