When I look back over my life it's almost as if there was a plan laid out for me - from the little girl who was so passionate about animals who longed to go to Africa and whose family couldn't afford to put her through college. Everyone laughed at my dreams. I was supposed to be a secretary in Bournemouth.

In a couple sometimes one or both people have to give up their personal life dreams and ambitions for the good of the family.

Instead of plotting the demise of the traditional family as some politicians and religious leaders would have you believe gay people mow their lawns and watch 'American Idol' and video their children's concerts and have the same hopes and dreams that their straight counterparts do.

I am so excited to let fans in on how important my relationship with my family is to me. I hope to motivate mothers and daughters to build lifetimes of memories together and inspire kids around the world to live their dreams.

The follow your dreams thing is really important because so many people are railroaded into taking other paths by their family their friends people who should be supportive going 'What are you talking about?' Even just seemingly regular career paths but if it's not what people expect for you they kind of react funny.

I did commit to myself that I would not jump back into being the workaholic that I can be before I gave myself an honest opportunity to create the marriage of my dreams and to create the beginning of the family of my dreams and that took a hot second.

Love is such an objective thing. I mean I can say I love my family or I love my Diet Coke. So I guess in different ways yeah I do believe in love.

Eating at home is fine as I can easily work around the foods that don't agree with me and still eat heartily with the rest of my family. I don't force them to follow my diet.

I almost fainted. There was no family history. I had been eating a vegetarian diet and I exercised.

It was something I was more interested in myself. When I went to see my sister dance at ballet I was really into costumes and the arts and my family was also supportive of whatever me and my sister wanted to do. I would say I pushed myself the most to be into design.
