I know my country has not perfected itself. At times we've struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people. We've made our share of mistakes and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions.

Experience taught me a few things. One is to listen to your gut no matter how good something sounds on paper. The second is that you're generally better off sticking with what you know. And the third is that sometimes your best investments are the ones you don't make.

I'm selfish impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes I'm out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

What we have found in this country and maybe we're more aware of it now is one problem that we've had even in the best of times and that is the people who are sleeping on the grates the homeless you might say by choice.

But men are men the best sometimes forget.

Sometimes when you innovate you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly and get on with improving your other innovations.
