Labor wants pride and joy in doing good work a sense of making or doing something beautiful or useful - to be treated with dignity and respect as brother and sister.
And to say that society ought to be governed by the opinion of the wisest and best though true is useless. Whose opinion is to decide who are the wisest and best?
